THE KINGDOM OF JACOB
From Abraham to you, and how it happened.
If you are of European descent, or British or American, you are possibly descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You could be an Israelite, descended from the 10 lost tribes of Israel who were taken captive by the Assyrians in 722 b.c., and here is how. 10 of the tribes of Israel had been deported far north of Israel, above the Euphrates, according to Josephus. These lost Israelites did not go back down to Israel, because the book of James calls them "the 12 tribes scattered abroad." This large mass wandered into Europe, and to the British Isles, and later many settled in America. This was no stretch, by the time of Paul, people easily travelled into Europe, Paul speaks of going to Spain. And the Romans who conquered Palestine show us that this type of travel was not only possible for these 10 tribes, it was shortly a common occurrence.
Hints of their identity coming from their worship of Baal instead of the true God, and this being one of the reasons that Israel was "kicked" out of Israel. They were rebellious and hard headed concerning their false religion and God punished them for it, but there was another purpose for deporting them. God intended to spread them all over the world. He promised Jacob that his descendants would spread to the north, south, east and west! At the same time, God intended that they be blind to their identity. That wasn't hard to accomplish, since they had already adopted pagan sun worship or Baal worship which is mentioned in the Bible over 80 times. Rather than keep the holy Sabbath, as God had commanded them, these wayward and rebellious Israelites worshipped on the day of the Sun, still to this day called Sunday. They also brought an evergreen tree into their home at the time of the winter solstice and decked it out, which Jeremiah 10 calls heathen. These Israelites were sacrificing their firstborn children and the little idols or "dolls" that they put under the tree in their homes were symbolic of the child that had been sacrificed under a grove of evergreen trees.
How they loved this false god and false religion, and how God hated it, sending them into captivity for it, BUT...the Bible indicates that at the end time, they would come out of their stupor and realize who they are and turn back to the true God, the one who is the creator of the world, the one who made man on the 6th day and the Sabbath on the 7th day, with the Sabbath being His day. The Sabbath therefore is a sign or "mark" that you had the right God. If you are a lost descendant of these Israelites, is it not time for you to come back to the true God and to make a "new covenant" together? Describing the new covenant, God says in Jeremiah 31:31-33 "The time is coming," declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, declares the LORD. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people."
Berit is the Hebrew word for covenant and ish for man. Beritish is covenant man! The British are part of the 10 lost tribes who will be restored back to God soon.
As for you, are you interested in having a covenant with the God of your fathers? Is God's law on your heart, as Jeremiah 31 mentions? If so, start keeping the Saturday Sabbath and repent of your forefathers sun worship and turn back to the true God. It is not your fault that you were taught wrong. God knows that you did not know better and were never told, but He is telling you now. You are a dear child of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the fathers of Israel. You know in your heart it is so.
