SURPRISING MEANINGS OF THE WORD FOOL

There are many different words in the bible that are translated "fool."  We usually think of a fool as an unintelligent person, who cannot learn, be enlightened or taught, and a beating will not knock the entrenched foolishness out of them.  But, what are the different meanings of the word fool, is there more involved than just being unintelligent?  For example, there is one word for fool that means  "brutal and depraved alcoholic."  Another means "contemptuous narcissist" who cannot be corrected or he will retaliate back.  One meaning is "a simpleton who cannot plan for the future" but there are many and they are all translated "fool."
