Are We There Yet?....To Sodom and Gomorrah???

I remember in the 80s, we were watching Wonder Woman, and in the show something groundbreaking happened...they said the D word, and I thought to myself, "I am so glad that my grandmother isn't alive to see this, what would she think!!" 

Well....flash forward to today, what would she think about what she would see now?  The word damn would be the least of her worries, she would think the world had turned into literal Sodom and Gomorrah.

How did it happen?  Slowly, slowly.  As the old story goes, if the water had been hot to begin with the frog would have jumped out, but the water warmed bit by bit...till he was boiled.  We did not jump out either.

GOD DOES RESETS...one is coming soon!

There have been times in different ages, where God did a complete "reset".  Sodom and Gomorrah was one of those times, the angelic rebellion was a reset, the destruction of the dinosaurs was a reset, Noah's Ark was a reset, and the return of Christ will be a time of reset.  God has done it before, many times and He'll do it again.  Could be anytime, then again, might not be in our lifetime, we are terrible with time and we don't fully understand, even though we think we do, how God uses time in the Bible.

A lot of what we think is prophecy, has already happened, a lot of what we think has already happened is prophecy.  And it's all mixed together...sometimes within one verse, and that is the conundrum we face...but the book of Revelation is filled with end time prophecy and it speaks of a coming reset in the end time.  An overturn, where the whole world which has been under Satan's rule.  

Under God's rules of the New Kingdom, war will not be allowed, weapons of war will be turned into plow shares and pruning hooks.  Animals will not be aggressive and dangerous to people under God's government.  A child will be able to handle a dangerous adder, and not be harmed, you will be able to sleep in the woods at night without fear of harm.  The Bible says, there will be no "hurting or destroying in all my Holy Kingdom."

 

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

 

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat  hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by  a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide  us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Even though they hide their faces from God at the return of Christ, they will go to Him once He has established His Kingdom.  Many peoples will say " “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways,so that we may walk in his paths.”

What are "His paths", well the next sentence might be a clue!  It says: The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 

This would be a great place to show people that "the law is done away with." But no, he establishes the law as the system God uses to civilize the world...and that Law will go out from Zion to the rest of the world.  The world needs a Messiah, and it needs law and rules to make things better for everyone.

They will like this reset once it is done and they will go to God to learn a new way, one based on civility and love, truth, righteousness and every good thing.  God will stop war and they won't be allowed to do it anymore, God will turn their war weapons into farm implements. 

The Mountain of the Lord

This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

In the last days,

The mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established

as the highest of the mountains;

it will be exalted above the hills,

and all nations will stream to it.

Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,

to the temple of the God of Jacob.

He will teach us his ways,

so that we may walk in his paths.”

The law will go out from Zion,

the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

He will judge between the nations

and will settle disputes for many peoples.

 

They will beat their swords into plowshares

and their spears into pruning hooks.

Nation will not take up sword against nation,

nor will they train for war anymore.

Come, descendants of Jacob,

let us walk in the light of the Lord.

 

ISAIAH PROPHESIES THIS COMING RESET....called the Kingdom of God!  Ruled not by a false fake Gnostic Jesus, but by the real Jesus, who is prophesied to be the descendant of David and of his father Jesse.

 

The Root of Jesse

1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and

of the fear of the LORD;

3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the

hearing of his ears:

4But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his

mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

6The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a

little child shall lead them.

7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

10And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be

glorious.

11And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be

left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the

sea.

12And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four

corners of the earth.

13The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex

Ephraim.

14But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon

Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

15And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite

it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.

16And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up

out of the land of Egypt.
