THE JUDGMENT OF ANGELS

What is the fate of the fallen angels? The Bible indicates there is a judgment coming for them!

People think of angels as being higher on the spiritual scale than men, but it is not so.  If we make it in the first resurrection, we have an important job.  We will judge angels.  The fallen angels will not get away scott free.  Many of the worst are held in confinement, awaiting their day of judgment.  Jude 5:7 says, "Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home-these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Will God himself judge them?   No, the Bible says that the Saints will!

"Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the Saints?  Do ye not know that the Saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?  Know ye not that we shall judge angels, how much more things that pertain to this life?" ! Corinthians 6:1-4

How do you identify a Saint?  Easy.  Revelation 14:12  says, "Here is the patience of the Saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."They are commandment keepers, and they keep the faith of Jesus.  In other words, they follow His teaching.  In God's plan of salvation, not everyone will be saved at the same time, or have the same job.  Those that come up in the first resurrection--THE Saints--come up in a better resurrection and they have a big job to do.  The Bible says they "live and reign with Christ for a thousand years!"  (Revelation 20:4)  So we see that the first fruits or the "first born" of God's family receive the birthright.  The Church of the Firstborn, the Saints, are going to receive a Kingdom!   If you are not keeping the Ten Commandments, you should start now!  This is a requirement for a Saint.  The fourth commandment is to keep the Sabbath Day holy.  Not Sunday, which is the first day of the week, but the seventh day of the week, as Christ and Paul kept.

23 To the general assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we (are) receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear."

Hebrews 12:23,28
